My name is Billy Hunt, and I am a wedding and portrait photographer in Charlottesville, Virginia. In addition to producing amazing imagery, I create a relaxed, positive space for my brides, grooms and everyone I photograph. My clients are discerning, thoughtful people, who not only want great imagery, but want to enjoy the experience. I love what I do, and I think that it shows in my work.
This website showcases my weddings, portraits and personal endeavors as an artist. Through it, I hope you can get a sense of who I am. Thanks for visiting and feel free to contact me if you have any questions or feedback.
As my Viral Video/Infomercial is rocketing it way through the Internets and Blogospheres, Jon Thorpe, a Canadian Wedding Photographer, wrote a jingle response to my jingle. Can I say how much I love the Internet, and the I Am T-Pain IPhone App? Can I say how much I love America, and now Canada?
Here is my new infomercial, “Four tips for Looking Beautiful in Photos” I am really excited to have my own Jingle! I think my mom would be proud.
Even though this is a little silly, I really do believe the tips in this video will help look better in your photos. You would not believe how many times I have to help people get through their photographic hangups. Just remember, you are beautiful. It’s true.

I had a great time at Sara and Chad’s wedding. Their wedding day at Live Arts and the Second Street Gallery was quaint, elegant and very genuine. I think that the highlights of the evening, for me, were the dance that Sara and Chad performed together (they are classy!) and, of course, the amazing spread of food. Chad is a chef for Harvest Moon Catering and he managed to put together the perfect assortment of appetizers to keep everybody happy throughout the night. Here is some imagery from the night.
My friend Glen owns Aqua Scapes here in Charlottesville Virgina. He builds and maintains a ton of Aquariums here in town, including mine. He needed some promotional images for his website, and asked me to photograph his tank. (Fish photography is a little challenging. Who knew?) While I was there, I decided to make a movie. An action packed thriller this is not, but I find it relaxing. Music is by xx, who I am really into right now.
