Here is a video of my son William.  Please ignore his nose and my disposition, both of which are snotty.

Lisa and Rick’s Wedding

November 25th, 2008

Sweet Lisa and Rick. Their Maymont Park wedding in Richmond, Virginia was so fun and refreshing. Lisa is funny, sweet, and beautiful. Rick is easygoing, also funny, and fun to be around. They work well together.

On the drive down to Richmond, the weather looked pretty miserable, but just as we arrived, the sun broke through and Jeremy and I had some of the best weather we have had all year. The light was beautiful, and everyone was so excited for the day, that it made my job easy. This is exactly the type of event that makes me love what I do.

Betsy & Danny’s Wedding preview

November 24th, 2008

Jeremy and I went down to Suffolk last weekend to photograph Betsy and Danny’s wedding. Betsy is Eddie’s twin sister, and this is the first time I have photographed one twin’s wedding, then another. I love photographing the same people at different wedding. Everyone is relaxed, and I feel even more a part of the family.

Melissa’s Family Photos

November 21st, 2008

I saw my college friend Melissa at a wedding recently, and she asked me to take some pictures of her and her four (four!) kids. I was so impressed with her and her family. I have trouble keeping up with my one son William, and she handled her kids with a grace and poise I would not have thought possible. In addition to being adorable, they were super sweet too.

So, get ready to get heart-warmed.

Charlotte & Carl’s Wedding

November 21st, 2008

Charlotte and Carl’s elopement at the Clifton Inn here in Charlottesville was lovely. Rev. Claire Goodman, Jeremy, and I were the only witnesses to their simple, elegant, beautiful ceremony. They were so happy, and I cannot articulate how refreshing their wedding was. Charlotte and Carl, thank you for letting us be a part of it,

C-Ville’s Winter Sugar Supplement

November 18th, 2008

As many of you know, my style of photography is a blend of fashion and photojournalism. So, one of my favorite ongoing assignments is to photograph C-Ville’s quarterly fashion spread in their Sugar supplement. In this Winter edition, we shot in the Paramount Theater, and I have to say, I am very pleased with the results. My good friend Daphne Latham did a great job on hair and makeup, the models were fantastic, and the location was spectacular. Here is a short video of my photoshoot by Caite White at the C-Ville, and some images. Check it out, and let me know what you think.

Lisa and Rick’s Wedding Preview

November 17th, 2008

Lisa and Rick’s wedding at Maymont Park in Richmond was absolutely beautiful. The weather broke was rainy before and after, but was perfect during the ceremony and reception. The park itself had a beautiful, European look that was like Bush Gardens, but even nicer (kidding).

I will show you more later, with a slideshow further detailing what a handsome couple Lisa and Rick really are.

Carrie and Eddie’s Wedding

November 14th, 2008

I had so much fun with Carrie and Eddie at their Omni Hotel wedding.  We ran around the downtown mall before the wedding, trying on sunglasses, having coctails, and generally enjoying ourselves.  Eddie is a super nice, easygoing, friendly guy.  Carrie is very fun, knows tons of people and is also a pleasure.  Both of them are obviously in love, and very sweet with one another.  They can dance too.  Thanks for the good times.
